Jeff J. Metts
Jeff Metts is President of Dowding Industries, a manufacturing enterprise with capabilities including stampings, large sheet metal fabrications and large scale Precision machining. In this role, Mr. Metts is responsible for all aspects of the business including business development, operations, sales and marketing. He was appointed to this position in 2007, after 10 years at Dowding Industries.
Mr. Metts began his career with Dowding Industries in 1997, starting as a Sales Representative. Chartered with expanding Dowding Industries’ customer base, Jeff was able to land many significant accounts, tripling sales.
In a relatively short time Mr. Metts moved into Operations where his leadership, management techniques and motivational skills re-energized the plants and made Dowding Industries the lucrative business it is today. Jeff moved quickly from Plant Operations Manager to VP of Operations for Dowding Industries, and eventually on to President and Principle Partner.
Jeff’s passion and drive has moved Dowding Industries toward modern energy where he oversaw the design and development of our newest facility for wind power components.
Mr. Metts is an accomplished pilot and enjoys flying. He is also the father of three and grandfather of eight.
